**APS6 Policy and Legislation Officers**

Our federal government client is seeking dedicated APS6 Policy & Legislation Officers to contribute to its business case development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake research, analysis and provide advice on business requirements, policy, and legislation.
- Consideration of policy implications for the project, including consideration of relevant existing VET sector infrastructure and the education and training environment.
- Assist in the development of a range of policy documents, including consultation papers, facts sheets, meeting papers, briefs and talking points.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and represent the work area in relation to policy and legislative development.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Experience developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgement, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Highly Desirable:

- Tertiary qualifications in a field relevant to public policy and/or law would be desirable but not essential.
