An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Strategic Communications, Engagement and Protocol Branch, as Executive Assistant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol (SCEP) Branch provides specialist communication and protocol advice and support to DPC and the Premier's Private Office.

The Executive Assistant role is a busy and challenging role supporting the Directors within the Strategic Communications, Engagement and Protocol Branch. The role is part of a tight-knit administration and management team working collaboratively to meet business support and administration needs across the branch.

The role requires a proactive self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment.

**About you**
- Proven experience in delivering a range of executive assistant and business support functions and in using and managing business systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
- Situational awareness of the operating environment, including an ability to distinguish between more and less critical activities and operate accordingly, reviewing and adjusting priorities as required.
- Ability to work closely with the other members of the administrative team to provide integrated support for Branch needs across a range of roles and processes as they arise.
