Hays has partnered with a State Government organisation committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable arts sector, strengthen cultural, social, artistic and economic outcomes for Queensland. We are currently seeking an experienced AO5 Partnership & Investment Officer to join their team. This is a part-time 6-week (with the possibility to extend) assignment located in Brisbane CBD.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager in this role you will be responsible for implementing best practice grants management standards across all stages of the funding cycle. Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Support funding programs, service delivery contracts, evaluation, reporting and acquittal processes to achieve key deliverables.
- Drafting of letters or other relevant administration tasks.
- Liaison with clients regarding contracting processes, following up on invoices/EFT, processing administration through in-house systems.
- Provide a high level of client service.
- Conduct research to support the preparation of reports that inform future strategy, policy and business cases.
- Support the provision of financial advice including providing support in reporting, financial, audit requirements and compliance.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, and programs.
- Support the provision of advice for the Minister, Deputy Director-General, and senior management, including through the preparation of Ministerial correspondence, reports, briefs and submissions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven working experience within procurement, grants or contract administration.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be immediately available.

**What you'll get in return**
- 6 week assignment supported by Hays Recruitment within a State Government organisation.
- Part-time role, 3 days a week, 7.25 hours per day.
- $60.25 per hour + Super.
- Role based in Brisbane CBD.
