A Government client is seeking a Injury Management Coordinator responsible for providing administrative support and for contributing to the delivery of Health, Safety and Wellbeing programs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Workers' compensation and rehabilitation and return to work case management;
- Triaging Incident Reports and Incident Investigation Reports, including calling injured or ill health workers, their managers and other contacts as required to ensure the safety of the worker;
- Updating and maintaining injury management and incident reporting spreadsheets;
- Arranging quotes and managing payment of invoices;
- Arranging ergonomic assessments;
- Following up medical certificates with injured workers;
- Data collation and analytics for reporting purposes;
- Responding to internal queries in relation to the corporate health program and the departments employee assistance program;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders regarding work and non-work-related injuries / illnesses to determine appropriate management action as required;
- Liaising with external stakeholders;
- Actively participate as a member of the Health Safety and Wellbeing team.
**Key Criteria**:
- Industry experience and/or Qualifications in Rehabilitation and Return to Work.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven customer and relationship management skills, including conflict resolution skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in partnership with clients and stakeholders across a diverse organisation.
- Previous experience working in an administration role in government and/or in a health, safety and wellbeing environment is desirable.
- Demonstrates personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work, and a commitment to professional and self-development.
- Proven ability to present information, oral and written, in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
