**About the Company**
Davidson is the preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. We are currently looking for expressions of interest for A05 to A08 Policy Officers.
**About the Role**
- Research, gather and analyse data and information
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of discussion papers, briefs and submissions, to contribute to the development and delivery of policy initiatives
- Prepare and review public policy advice to ensure alignment with policy directions
- Prepare reports and correspondence on public policy material
- Communicate with key stakeholders
- Writing policies
**About You**
- Proven knowledge and experience in strategic policy and/or policy development
- Experience writing policies and procedures for a government organisation
- Demonstrated capacity to research, analyse, understand and write concisely
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills and ability to research and analyse material and identify key issues
- Working with legislation and keeping up to date with government policy
- Excellent ability to work across different departments and liaise with various stakeholders
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Demonstrated experience working within Government, highly regarded.
