Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. Davidson currently have an opportunity for an experienced AO5 Partnerships and Investment Officer to join a growing government department for a temporary contract.
Part-time, 3 days/week. 6-weeks contract, however, may extend up to 12-weeks depending on operational requirements.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced grant, contract and/or procurement officer to take on a position supporting the delivering and administration of contestable funding and/or procured services. You will also be responsible for implementing best practice grants management standards across all stages of the funding cycle.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Partnerships and Investment, and supports other team members in their work activities.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the end-to-end delivery of contestable funding programs, service delivery contracts, evaluation, reporting and acquittal processes to deliver Government objectives and achieve sustainable cultural, social, and economic outcomes for artists and communities.
- Provide high level client service to best support the sector through the navigation of funding and procurement processes.
- Conduct desktop level research to support the preparation of a clear, concise, and evidence-based reports that inform future strategy and policy and business cases for regional arts development and sustainability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, and programs to support growth of the arts and cultural sector.
- Support the provision of advice for the Minister, Deputy Director-General, and senior management, including through the preparation of Ministerial correspondence, reports, briefs and submissions.

The position will be undertaking contracts administration work and working with local councils. Experience or understanding in government procurement/contracts is highly desirable.
