**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the **Senior Manager, IT and Digital Transformation**, you will be responsible for the strategic services and operational leadership of UnitingSA’s service desk, field support, end-user computing, asset lifecycles, and workplace technology.
With a mix of technical know-how and strong people leadership, you’ll create a culture of excellence in service delivery balancing priorities, enhancing customer satisfaction, and enabling proactive support across a hybrid workforce.
You’ll also champion best-practice frameworks, ensure robust cyber resilience, and lead the adoption of emerging digital tools that enable productivity and collaboration across the organisation.
**What You’ll Lead and Deliver**
- A high-performing team of ICT professionals delivering outstanding first-contact resolution and field support
- Asset management and lifecycle planning, including hardware procurement, configuration and decommissioning
- Modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, AV systems, mobile devices and remote access
- Operational support for business-critical systems including AD, MDM, productivity and security platforms
- Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT service delivery and empower user self-service
- Vendor and stakeholder relationships that ensure quality, alignment, and future-ready solutions
- Response coordination during critical incidents, including security threats and system outages
**About You**
You are an experienced IT leader who blends strong technical capabilities with a passion for service and people. You’re confident working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, with a sharp eye for innovation and efficiency.
**You bring**:
- Qualifications in ICT or related disciplines (with relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Azure or AWS highly regarded)
- Proven leadership of IT service desks and field support teams, ideally in large or hybrid environments
- Expertise across end-user technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV and telephony
- Strong working knowledge of ITSM (ITIL v4), asset management, systems administration, and cyber security protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to translate tech-speak into user-friendly guidance
- A proactive, growth mindset, always looking for smarter, faster, more effective ways to deliver a great client experience
**You also hold**:
- A current SA Driver’s Licence
- DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
