A 6-Month contract for an ICT Support Officer at a highly regarded SA Government department based in Adelaide

**Your new company**

This SA Government Department is based in the Northern subarbs of Adelaide, and they are on the lookout for an ICT Support Officer to join their team.

**Your new role**

The ICT Support Officer works under the Senior ICT Support Officer to manage and improve the ICT Infrastructure of the sites this department manages. The ICT Support Officer also helps with the Agency’s ICT Infrastructure and its projects.

The main tasks of the ICT Support Officer is to:

- Coordinate and perform project administration activities to support the department’s ICT network infrastructure and services for its managed sites.
- Contribute to the ICT infrastructure and network remediation projects by doing ICT administration and curriculum network infrastructure and systems related work.
- Provide technical administration, information, support and advice for the delivery and use of the department’s ICT infrastructure and services.
- Review and improve the solution documentation and processes for ICT Business Engagement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication networks with internal and external stakeholders and third party providers to coordinate and improve the connectivity services and support strategies.
- Help to keep a safe and healthy working environment by reporting incidents, hazards and injuries.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with stakeholders and staff.
- Working efficiently and responsibly in a team setting and planning and organizing work.
- Learning and supporting new technologies and tools and undertaking ICT projects and changes.
- Delivering and advising on quality ICT network services and practices within Microsoft environment.
- Working independently or as a team member, exercising initiative, judgement and authority, and resolving operational problems.
- Having sound knowledge of agency programs, policies and activities.
- Promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment and complying with Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Having knowledge of ICT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles and technologies within a Microsoft technologies environment.
