
Manager, Policy Response

The roleProvide strategic policy advice, conduct research and analysis and develop options, policies, strategies and initiatives in relation to all programs managed by the Office of the General Manager.
You will be responsible for a team of policy officers that you will lead and and manage to provide high level strategic policy advice to the General Manager. You will ensure that advice is related to division priorities and informed by research, analysis and relevant quantitative and qualitative data.
The successful personYou will have highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels. You will rely on your experience of preparing and reviewing politically sensitive and complex reports, briefing notes and other correspondence for a range of executive level and ministerial stakeholders.
You will have a proven ability to provide strategic direction and lead a team to deliver on the responsibilities of the Office of the General Manager. Additionally, you will have the ability to manage multiple tasks, set and revise priorities and achieve results within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
