We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team and support the purchasing function.
Key Responsibilities

Assist Purchasing Manager as directed, following internal procedures, for any purchasing activities for goods, software and services.

Liaise with the Facilities team to coordinate and complete premises/equipment scheduled maintenance.

Manage all staff travel bookings, including flights, accommodation and car hire.

Manage receipt, distribution and deliveries of purchased items (inbound goods process, including issuing asset tags).

Manage equipment returns (for engineers) and premises warranty repairs (for facilities).

Manage equipment and consumable stock levels, including stocktakes and ordering.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience (administration, purchasing, executive assistance).

Good knowledge of purchasing process with commercial experience.

Practical experience purchasing goods online and travel bookings.

Professional phone etiquette.

Intermediate MS Office skills (or Google suite) particularly strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

Comfortable multitasking and ability to manage deadlines.

Unrestricted work rights in Australia.

**Desirable**:
Prior experience working with a technology or software company.

Prior computer equipment purchasing experience.

Experience using Jira software for task management.
