**Your new role**

As a Purchasing Officer you will be responsible for
- Processing and ensuring purchase orders are provided to suppliers within the required time frame
- Tracking orders ensuring timely delivery of ordered goods
- Ensuring quality and quantity of products ordered and delivered
- Coordinate and organise the collection of goods by site staff from the warehouse
- Assess supplier offerings in terms of pricing, payment terms and quality of product
- Develop and implement processes with regards to ordering of stock
- Track and correlate invoices against delivery notes each day to enable the finance team to process payments
- Ensure effective processing of over ordered goods and equipment

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum of 2 years in purchasing or a similar role
- Working knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety standards and the ability to promote a proactive safety culture
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective time management to adhere to deadlines
- You must hold a construction white card & NSW driver's license
