Located at our Head Office in
- **Wetherill Park**, we are seeking a highly motivated
- **Purchasing Officer **to join our Purchasing team. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the primary responsibility of the role will be to plan and execute purchasing plans for allocated categories on time in the right locations.
- Onsite parking. Hybrid work model
- 4 days office based and 1-day WFH.

**Exciting Challenges**

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and execute supply of Finished Goods and Raw Materials, ensuring that all critical data indicators are reviewed (including Pallet and or Order Multiple, Unit of Measure, Pricing etc)
- Manage Shipment Arrival Notices from Freight Forwarders
- Update and monitor Safety Stock for all Raw Materials and Packaging items for assigned categories
- Notify business areas if key information is incorrect or missing
- Monitor and analyse stock levels and lead performance improvement relating to inventory and service improvement for assigned categories
- Maximise raw material efficiency
- Maintain highest level customer DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) by evaluating and recommending actions to improve performance

**We Need Your Skills**

**A LITTLE ABOUT YOU**

To be successful within this role, you will:

- Have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in a Planning and Purchasing environment
- Have previous experience in collaborating in an S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) environment
- Have advanced Excel skills
- Have strong analytical skills to interpret data for planning purposes
- Have the ability to work on multiple projects or issues simultaneously
- Be detail-oriented and highly organised
- Possessing an APICS or similar Professional Certification is highly regarded._
