**About the role**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bid writer who wants more influence over their work, the ability to work on a variety of bids for diverse projects and clients and wants to be using their great writing skills. We are looking for a bid writer/coordinator who wants to take the next step into a leadership role and who can think creatively, understand their audience, and bring it all together to create standout bids.

You will be engaged with the writing, management and coordination of bids, relevant bid and tender reporting and assist with relevant marketing collateral. As the Southern Region Bid Lead, you will also be providing leadership, mentoring and support to the Melbourne bids team and working with the Northern Region Bid Lead to identify and implement efficiency improvements in the proposal management process.

As we primarily operate in the building services space, it is a fast-paced environment. You will be working on multiple bids simultaneously focusing on high level strategic bids, whilst supported by a collaborative and conscientious team.

You will be driving the bids process and delivering excellent support including:

- Writing and creation of competitive bids and proposals, EOI's and panel submissions within branding and business guidelines.
- Project management including the collation and coordination of all information required from various internal and external stakeholders for final submission in a timely and precise manner.
- Updating of bids and proposal information in software systems including data input for tracking, reporting and forecasting.
- Maintenance and growth of the bids library including creation and management of CV's, project profiles and other bids content.
- Assistance with Business Development collateral including presentations and capability statements.

**About you**:
You need to be someone who loves what they do, a naturally talented writer, with the ability to understand and write to bid criteria.

Ideally, you will:

- Have solid experience writing and coordinating bids for government, institutional and private sector clients.
- Are a highly organised individual with great time management skills and very high attention to detail.
- Have experience in or be ready to take the next step into a leadership role and demonstrate integrity, ownership and positivity.
- Have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to communicate and work effectively with people nationally.
- Have exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, especially in your team and at all levels from Directors and technical experts.
- Experience in the Built Environment, Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, Architecture or associated fields will be highly regarded.
- Word & PowerPoint proficiency is essential, InDesign & Adobe suite experience is highly regarded.
