The Company

Our client is a leading International Insurance brokerage looking for an experienced compliance manager to join their beautiful office in Melbourne. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in compliance and an understanding of broking to progress their career, working closely with the Authorised Representatives of their firm.

The role
- Maintain relationships with the Authorised Representatives with regular visits to different branches across their southern region.
- Develop and implement compliance programs across the Southern Region, including policies, procedures, and training programs
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure that our business practices remain compliant
- Provide guidance and support to clients on compliance-related matters
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify potential compliance risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations
- Respond to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance
- Salary of $150k - $160k package

You
- 3-5 years experience in audit, risk management, legal, and insurance broking
- Degree or equivalent in relevant field preferred
- Experience in Insurance or Financial services
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge and understanding of Insurance
