The role: As our Precontracts team continues to expand, Unyte are looking to appoint a Bid Manager / Project Manager.
This is a precontracts-driven role; Slotting into an experienced and dynamic precontracts team, you will help take the lead on key bids and submissions.
Based in our HQ, you will enjoy a flourishing culture, as well as opportunities for progression as we continue to expand.
Your every day: Lead and manage tender submissions including strategy development, team coordination, risk assessment, constructability and final review to ensure high-quality, competitive bids.
Collaborate across departments (Precontracts, Delivery, Commercial, Procurement) to align bid content with pricing, contract terms, and project requirements.
Engage in post-tender activities such as client negotiations, presentations, clarifications, and handover documentation to support successful project initiation.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to internal bid processes and systems.
Foster team culture and development through mentoring, contributing to team initiatives, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Minimum of 7+ years' experience across civil engineering.
Effective communication with clients, consultants' management & on-site personnel.
Previous experience in delivery / bid settings.
Proven track record converting key bids into won work.
