We are seeking an organized and motivated Office Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes and customer interactions.
**Type: Full-Time**
**Role and Responsibilities**:
As the Office Manager at Oceansouth Australia, you will be responsible for overseeing various administrative and customer service functions that are essential to the efficient functioning of the company. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure a seamless experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Receive and process customer orders promptly and accurately.
- Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock levels.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide information about our products and services.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and customer-centric manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, discounts, and terms on invoices.
- Maintain and organize office records, documents, and files.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Accurately enter and maintain data related to orders, customers, and inventory.
**The applicant must have**:
- High computer skills - MS office and business software (knowledge of SAP an advantage)
- Excellent phone manner
- Experience working in a similar role
- Be able to work both unsupervised and within a team
- Strong attention to detail
The position would suit someone technically minded as you will need to develop detailed product knowledge. Be ready to approach a very hands on role in the office and warehouse with the right attitude. Experience in the marine industry or boating product knowledge would be a major advantage.
