**The Company**
This well-known professional services company that has been established for 65 years is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the Finance team on a full-time permanent basis.
**The Role**
- Assisting with the management and accurate calculation, collation and processing of the monthly payroll via MicrOpay
- Assisting with the calculation of commission payments
- Assisting with GL account reconciliations
- Answering payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Calculating terminations and other manual calculations including parental leave, long service leave, leave without pay etc.
- Interpreting and working within the Banking, Finance and Insurance Award
- General Payroll and HR administration duties.
**The Person**
- Qualification in Accounting and/or 4+ years of experience in an end-to-end payroll
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel and numeracy skills
- Thorough approach and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Committed, reliable and highly organised
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
**On Offer**
- Excellent salary package of $85,000 (inclusive of super) plus $5K bonus (which can increase to $9-$10,000 depending on items performance)
