Working in a team of 4 Pricing Specialists leveraging analytics and technology, the Pricing Manager will help to transform and optimise the Payments Pricing Portfolio to deliver against commercial goals.

The role will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Pricing, the role will closely collaborate with various teams at Tyro including Sales, Product and Engineering, etc.

**What you'll do as Pricing Manager**:

- Collaborate with other teams within Tyro (Sales, Product and Engineering etc) to execute and deliver on pricing related initiatives.
- Execute portfolio repricing activities within tight deadlines.
- Develop business cases for pricing changes to the product offering to keep Tyro’s competitive positioning.
- Manage and develop metrics that measures the success of existing and new pricing initiatives.
- Analyze pricing impacts and modify pricing strategy to align with Tyro’s short term and long term business goals.
- Develop own knowledge of the product(s) and industry/competitor trends and use this knowledge to influence strategic direction of pricing development.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates product(s) in the market.
- Communicate the value proposition of the pricing strategy to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process.
- Understand end to end pricing processes and related operational risks; design controls to minimise identified risks.
- Assist in the preparation of submissions to XLT, PriceCo and Board of Directors when required.

**What you bring to the team**:

- 5+ years of experience in acquiring or issuing pricing demonstrated thorough understanding of interchange and scheme fee principles, interchange regulation and its impact to issuers, acquirers, merchants and cardholders.
- 3+ years experience in successful delivery of financial products in growth environments with tight timeframes and the understanding of the impact and importance pricing has to overall profitability.
- Demonstrated experience in pricing transformation (from analysis to design of new pricing framework to rollout & change management to on-going monitoring).
- Demonstrated financial analysis skills and ability to perform complex pricing analysis and models.
- Understanding of financial risk management.
- Ability to solve problems with consideration to customers and business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate win-win outcomes.
- Effective communication skills and experience in building and maintaining relationships across the business to drive pricing changes.
- SQL skills, Advance Access skills or Advance Excel skills a must. Experience in Tableau, Alteryx would be beneficial.
