The Core Manufacturing Crew is dedicated to delivering customer obsessed home buying solutions enabling Australians to achieve their home ownership goals, whilst having the most sophisticated risk and reward settings and ensuring responsible risk management. We support the proprietary, digital and third party channels to meet our customers’ home ownership goals.
In the Crew, we create and enhance new and an existing suite of core home loan products and features; design new innovative and digitised pricing solutions that create exceptional pricing experiences for our customers and distribution partners whilst delivering best in class home loan pricing strategies and sustainable returns. We will deliver a step change in the data, analytics and modelling used in Home Buying credit and pricing decisions to deliver improved business outcomes and exceptional customer experience.
**Do work that matters**
Your contributions will influence one of the nation’s largest Home Loans portfolios and the Bank’s key driver of overall performance. This will require close collaboration and effective communication with multiple teams across Home Buying and supporting functions.
This role reports to the Chapter Lead, Pricing Strategy and Optimisation, and will focus on developing the pricing team’s capabilities to drive portfolio pricing optimisation, enhance credit risk based pricing outcomes, and support the development, execution and monitoring of pricing strategies and initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the development of robust analytical capabilities to drive portfolio pricing optimisation and the execution of strategic pricing changes and initiatives
- Help identify and lead pricing initiatives, supported by strong collaboration and effective communication within the Pricing Team and across RBS Home Buying and the support functions
- Contribute to the pricing team’s focus on developing insights and analytics, providing Pricing tool support, and enhancing reporting, governance and project management
- Ad-hoc data analysis and deep dives to support decision making, and effectively communicating complex material in a simple and easy to understand manner
- Monitoring and acting on competitor, regulatory, customer and industry changes
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people
**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**
- Minimum 3 years financial services experience in a high performing environment within Retail Banking, Product, Risk or Finance
- Home Buying Product/Pricing experience within a Finance or equivalent discipline will be highly regarded
- Proven delivery and execution experience with ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively
- Commercial acumen and professional judgement with the ability to make recommendations and draw out insights
- Degree qualified in a business, finance or scientific field.
