About Us
At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
The ANZ Executive Recruitment Team, within the Talent & Culture Division, contribute to strengthening senior leadership at ANZ by leading a thoughtful, timely, robust search and selection recruitment process for senior executive positions across ANZ.
As an Executive Recruitment Partner you will lead the selection of diverse, capable and qualified leaders for senior leadership positions including enterprise critical roles across the bank, and partner with senior leaders, including Group Executives, to deliver impactful recruitment outcomes whilst ensuring alignment with ANZ’s hiring policies, procedures, reporting and governance frameworks.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
**Role Type**: Permanent
**Role Location**: Melbourne
**Work Hours**: Full-time, 40hrs/week OR Part-time (4 days minimum)
What will your day look like?
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Actively contributing to the Women in Leadership agenda through search and advocacy of senior female leaders, gender balanced shortlists and proactive talent management.
Partnering seamlessly with other Talent & Culture teams to ensure alignment in executive recruitment outcomes, champion ongoing learning, and seek better ways to do things.
Proactive sourcing and support of both internal and external executive talent including working in partnership with approved executive search firms, where required, for specific external assignments.
Actively contributing to the identification and implementation of new ideas to further progress the executive service proposition, drive efficiencies and reduce time to serve.
Using internal and external data to inform decision making; including providing business leaders and Talent & Culture colleagues with valuable market insights, inputs into succession planning and role transition support.
Role modelling and promoting ANZ’s purpose-led and adaptive culture that creates opportunities, deliver what matters and succeeds together.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Executive recruitment experience leading end to end recruitment for senior roles, ideally in financial services, a large, complex organisation or in the executive search sector.
A customer-centric focus, with experience engaging and collaborating effectively across broad and geographically dispersed stakeholder groups, including business stakeholders up to the Group Executive level.
A progressive view of recruitment, relying on informed insights and market data to make data driven decisions on the appropriate recruitment strategy and approach.
A high level of detail orientation around identifying, monitoring and managing risk, issues and dependencies.
A resilient and flexible work style, with the ability to seek and receive feedback and tailor your approach as appropriate.
Broader career experience in banking or in a Talent & Culture related role will be beneficial.
You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
So why join us?
From the moment you join ANZ, you'll be doing meaningful work that will shape a world where people and communities thrive.
But it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact. you'll feel it too. Because at ANZ, you'll have the resources, opportunities, and support you need to take the next big step in your career.
We're a diverse bunch at ANZ in different roles, different locations, doing different things. That's why we have a range of flexible working arrangements, so our people can 'make work, work for them'. We also provide a range of benefits including access to health and wellbeing services and discounts on selected products and services from ANZ and more.
