The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to provide a critical role within the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit.
This is a prioritised role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, who will be given priority consideration as per the special measures provision of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.

About the business unit
The Recruitment Services branch within People and Workplace Services provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's (the department) strategic objective of “building a high performing justice system”, Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.
Recruitment Services comprises the following specialist functions:

- Campaign Recruitment - Corrections Victoria and Youth Justice
- Senior Recruitment Consulting and Redeployment
- Assessment and Selection
- Employment Marketing
- Recruitment Projects
- Employment Programs

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Aboriginal Talent Partner, Recruitment Services, The Aboriginal Recruitment Business Partner ensures that target hires for all prioritised, identified, designated and un-identified roles are achieved across Corrections Victoria.
The Aboriginal Recruitment Business Partner is accountable for effectively partnering with their regional stakeholders to deliver end to end or part services recruitment support. The Aboriginal Recruitment Business Partner will contribute specialist advice to regional stakeholders at all levels on Aboriginal cultural issues, employment related policies and legislation that impact on the Victorian Aboriginal community and be a strong advocate for the Department of Justice and Community Safety as an employer of choice.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Deliver the required hiring forecast for identified, designated and un-identified roles to be achieved across Corrections Victoria.
- Undertake the full recruitment lifecycle for executive recruitment where required across Corrections Victoria.
- Contribute specialist advice and expertise to regional stakeholders at all levels and the Recruitment Services Unit, People and Culture on Aboriginal cultural issues, employment related policies and legislation that impact on the Victorian Koori community to ensure that target hires and vacancy management across Corrections Victoria is delivered and maintained.

About you

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, both society and culture and the issues impacting on it.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
- Subject matter expert in recruitment with demonstrated recruitment business partnering experience with a diverse stakeholder group to meet operational demand and deliver consistent and quality recruitment service in Aboriginal employment context.

A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
