**About the Role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Officer Accounts Payable is responsible for the provision of timely and accurate payment of accounts payable commitments to TUH creditors as authorised and to maintain records of accounts paid and payable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Recording payments to suppliers according to TUH policies
- Processing and completing monthly supplier reconciliations and trade creditors reconciliation
- Monitoring and managing prompt receipt of supplier credit notes no greater than two months old and performing all end of financial year processes in a timely manner.
- Accounts payable cheque and electronic funds transfer (EFT) payment runs weekly and monthly (30 day-term).
- Processing transaction rejections
- Provide efficient, accurate and professional services to internal and external customers including creditors.
- Support a multi-skilled finance team

**About you**

Your enthusiastic and team focused nature will be a great asset to our finance team. You will enjoy working in a small team and highly flexible work environment with demonstrated experience in accounts payable.

Familiarity with general ledger account codes to ensure transactions are correctly recorded, demonstrated ability to interpret data, problem solve with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

This position requires allowance for periods of changed work requirements, such as end of month and end of financial year.
