Finance Officer needed to commence immediately. Flexible working conditions available

Your new company

A exciting Accounts Payable position working on a full time 3 month contract within a well known education organisation is available to commence immediately, located in the beautiful area of East Gippsland and allowing hybrid working.

Administer the accounts payable function and ensure all transactions are correct and compliant with internal and external policy, standards and legislative requirements.

This includes, but is not limited to:

- Receive invoices and input to FMIS
- Reimbursements
- Pay Run
- Reporting & Journals
- Credit and Retail Cards
- Other, e.g. Manage Victorian WorkCover Induction Card payments, Reconcile creditor accounts/statements

What you need to succeed for these roles
- Experience in a finance/banking administration or similar finance role (Qualification highly regarded)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with individuals who have dishonoured payments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly developed IT and record keeping skills with significant experience in financial systems, spreadsheets and MS Office suite
- High level organisation skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and achieve deadlines, whilst focussing on data accuracy and compliance requirements
- Current 'Employee WWCC' and Police Check within the past 12 months
