**Your Hotel - Ovolo The Valley**

Welcome to your Whimsical Oasis.

Situated in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley lies Ovolo the Valley. Inspired by the eclectic culture and iconic history of the surrounding neighbourhood, Ovolo the Valley draws guests into a whimsical oasis of colour and art, with surprising hints of quirkiness, custom wallpaper, eccentric furniture, and illustrations curated throughout all its spaces. Designed for effortless living, Ovolo the Valley features 103 guest rooms, Tel Aviv-inspired Restaurant ZA ZA TA and bar KAZBA, multiple event spaces, and a rooftop pool.

**The Gig**

Reporting to Financial Controller AU, as our Finance Business Partner (QLD) you will engage, guide and inspire with a hands-on and collaborative approach to facilitate and drive the finance function. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Training, managing and supervising Accountant(s), Assistant Accountant(s) and Intern(s) in daily/weekly/fortnightly tasks where necessary, such as accounts payables, accounts receivable, month end journals, bank reconciliations, etc. providing guidance that will enable personal development
- Reviewing/performing variance analysis and internal control related matters
- Reviewing/preparing forecast, annual budget and business plan preparation
- Assisting with statutory reporting such as FBT, BAS, etc.
- Ensure and monitor the accuracy and efficiency of Accounts Receivable
- Monitor key performance indicators for the hotels and drive corrective action

As our newest Finance Business Partner you will have previous experience in the Hotel Industry in a senior level within a multi-site environment, as well as possess thorough Financial Management knowledge. You will also be familiar with familiar with P&L statements, cost management and Budgeting process.
