Junior Finance & Administration Assistant

Located in Fortitude Valley our company is a construction company specialising in large format residential and commercial developments in Brisbane.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance & Administration Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to develop their financial and administrative skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. You will assist with daily finance operations, general office administration, and provide essential support to ensure the smooth running of business processes

This is a casual position to begin with and may lead into more permanent part time or full time position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Support:

· Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing

· Support month-end and year-end financial reporting

· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Administration Support:

· Provide general administrative support to the finance and operations teams

· Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy)

· Manage office supplies, mail, and correspondence

· Assist with data entry and database maintenance

Qualifications & Experience

· Certificate, Diploma, or Degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

· Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
