**About the team**:
Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars. Our purpose is to help adult Australians lead happier and healthier lives by drinking in a responsible and sustainable way. As a drinks specialist, Coles Liquor hosts an extensive range of wines, spirits and beers and we are passionate about providing customers with local and relevant products.
Our knowledgeable Team Members serve customers through our network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
**About the role**:
A senior member of the Commercial Leadership team, this role leads the strategic development of the omnichannel Liquorland banner and delivery of the Banner performance, in line with the CLG corporate plan and CoE commercial strategy.
The role leverages insights from the customer team, commercial CoE, category strategies, Operations State Managers, and Range & Space insights to achieve a differentiated banner strategy meeting local customer needs by geography / demographic.
You’ll also:
- Set and manage the banner strategy ensuring it is aligned with the broader liquor and category strategies
- Engage with teams across CLG to enable delivery of the Banner P&L and budget, ensuring commercial success
- Act as the custodian of the development of the differentiated customer proposition for banner
- Drive the banner transformation and innovation to support the customer offer and uplift performance
- Effectively manage and lead cross-functional and inter-connected environments
**About you and your skills**:
You are an experienced Retail Operational with proven experience in retail / category strategy development and implementation.
You’ll also have:
- Extensive experience in a senior business category manager or customer (Trade Planning) role
- Have experience in developing and delivering strategic outcomes through an approach of strong influence, analytical and collaborative skills and drive for results
- Cross functional team leadership and stakeholder management and influence
- Significant change management / project management experience within a supply chain environment
- Deep knowledge of retail merchandise and retail store operations processes and systems
