**About the NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority**
The Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority is a statutory decision-maker responsible for a range of liquor, registered club and gaming machine regulatory functions including determining licensing and disciplinary matters under the gaming and liquor legislation. ILGA takes a risk-based approach to discharging its functions. This means that ILGA will refer to the statutory objects and specific statutory criteria for making decisions set out in the liquor and gaming legislation. ILGA will also consider relevant liquor and gaming related research and evidence, including crime, demographic and health statistics.

**About the role**
Coordinate the provision of confidential, best practice secretariat support services for the Chairperson. The role contributes to a range of policies and projects and provides expert advice, coordination and support I the preparation of reporting, documents and processes that underpin good governance and formal decision making, including briefing notes and stakeholder correspondence.

**Essentials Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
