**About the Company**
Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced AO6 Executive Officer to commence a contract through until 30 th June with possible extension.
**About the Role**
The role of Executive Officer, P&E is responsible for delivering high quality executive support, including research, advice and recommendations to the Executive Director, P&E as well as the three directors of Workforce Strategy and Services; People, Capability and Culture; and Communication Services. The role leads and manages the administrative functions of the branch through effective and efficient practices to achieve business outcomes with a supported, trained and motivated workforce
- Provide sound advice to the Executive Director and the leadership team, P&E on the implementation of business strategies and policies to address impacts to the branch and the progress and delivery of projects.
- Manage the correspondence for the branch to a high level of quality and accuracy, ensuring effective document management processes and that deadlines are met. Research and collate information and prepare responses to ministerial and departmental correspondence
- Manage budgetary systems for the branch and provide advice and recommendations to the leadership team to enable informed decision making and monitoring of their monthly financial position
- Undertake corporate reporting requirements including financial and human resource management reports, coordination of business/operational planning and risk management planning and reporting, estimates committee and annual reporting requirements as well as other ad-hoc reports
- Oversee establishment management processes and coordinate with managers on the recruitment and selection of new staff to the Branch, to ensure alignment with approved and budgeted FTE cap for the branch.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-skill and prioritise workload and tasks
- Highly developed communication skills both oral and written
