**Responsibilities**:

- General reception and admin duties
- Meet and greet patients on the front desk
- Schedule appointments and prepare patients for their appointment
- Scan and file patient correspondence, results and other documents
- Liaise with doctors, staff and allied health professionals

**Skills and Experience Requirements**:

- 1+ years medical receptionist experience required
- Best Practice software experience desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, polite and friendly manner
- Demonstrated exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong administrative abilities

Our client is a reputable medical centre owned and operated by GPs who have lived in this community for decades. Believing that ownership by GPs that work in the practice is a critical factor in the quality of care that is delivered to patients, new partners have been welcomed to grow our successful team. All their GPs have worked in teaching practices, and between them they have many decades of experience as GP Supervisors and Medical Educators. Their Registrars come to them with wide experience as hospital doctors in various specialties, and are mentored as they gain the finishing touches of their training as specialist GPs. They currently have 5 medical receptionists, 1 practice manager, 11 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 podiatrist.
