This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced and energetic medical receptionist with front desk experience to expand their skillset and join a busy and professional GP practice on a part-time/casual basis, within the Hawkesbury working 1.5 days a week, and covering for sick and holidays when needed.

**The Role**:

- Meet and greet patients arriving to the practice
- Answer incoming telephone calls and manage enquiries
- Schedule patient appointments and provide appointment preparation
- Manage patient invoicing and receipting
- End of day procedures
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist - GP, allied health or specialist practice experience highly regarded
- Comfortable with patient billings and invoicing including Medicare claims
- Previous experience using medical software programs
- Able to manage multiple tasks and have high attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a busy team environment
- Must be available for for sick and annual leave at short notice

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.5 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Richmond, NSW 2754: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
