An ICT Service Desk Lead role based in the outskirts of Adelaide CBD
**Your new company**
This leading organisation is based in the outskirts of Adelaide CBD and they are looking for a Service Desk Lead to join their Service Delivery team.
**Your new role**
You will collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to organise the ICT team and provide clients with important technical solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direction, encouragement, and escalation for IT system technicians as they configure, install, maintain, debug, and document customer ICT solutions.
**What you'll need to succeed**
**Requirements -**
- Configuration, installation and troubleshooting of customer ICT solutions and projects including, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Cloud and Virtualisation, Cyber Security Solutions, Storage and Backup, Computer Hardware and Networking Equipment, Routers and Firewalls (vendors include but not limited to; Microsoft, Datto, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Draytek, Ubiquiti).
- Give system technicians help and direction for end-user computing with Windows and Apple devices and line-of-business apps.
- Proactive maintenance and management of clients' ICT environments and systems to guarantee high levels of availability and security.
- Provide on-site field help as necessary to address any problems that clients might be having.
- Help with IT audits by analysing the current environment of customers and documenting results.
**Qualifications -**
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar technical role
- Supervision or leadership experience with IT teams
- Experience with Windows OS, Azure, Microsoft O365, Windows Server and cloud security (desirable)
- Basic networking skill\knowledge including router and switches and working knowledge of connection protocols
- Knowledge and experience with mobile devices such as Android or Apple
- Experience working in virtualised infrastructure (Azure, VMware etc.)
- Demonstrated exceptional communication skills and an excellent phone and written etiquette are a must
