The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service Desk Analyst is responsible for delivering timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers throughout the Department for Education for South Australia (the Department).
Responsibilities- Deliver timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers.
- Utilise incident and request management processes to promptly restore normal service operations, efficiently fulfill standard service requests, or identify and assign them to the appropriate support teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ICT Service Delivery operations and maximise ICT support service provision.
- Apply best practice processes, including the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, in combination with strong ICT technical and communication skills.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Delivering Digital ICT Master Plan and the ongoing improvement of ICT infrastructure services for government schools and preschools.
- Essential: Nil
- Desirable: ITIL v4 Foundations; A tertiary qualification in an ICT related discipline or equivalent experience
- The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, renewed every five years before expiry.
- The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, updated every three years.

ASO3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
