- The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team. This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career within events management. Reporting to the General Operations Manager, you will convert enquiries into bookings and coordinate conferences, functions and business events from initial brief through to flawless delivery. It’s a hands-on role in a small, supportive team - perfect for an energetic “people person” who loves planning, problem-solving and seeing events come to life.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Respond to enquiries, provide quotes/proposals and conduct on-site tours.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics, preparing detailed Event Orders for internal teams and suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Capture post-event feedback and contribute ideas to improve systems, processes and service offerings.
- Escalate or resolve customer issues and comply with EEO / WHS obligations.

About You
You enjoy building rapport with internal and external clients and creating memorable experiences for your guests and exceeding client expectations. You will be required to demonstrate and meet the following key selection criteria:

- Demonstrated relevant experience working in a sales environment and/or conference and events.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management, organisational and problem-solving ability.
- A customer-first mindset and the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with event or hotel systems will be an advantage.
