**About the Client**:
Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) are the key promoter, developer, and leader for project managers in Australia. AIPM works towards improving the knowledge, skills, and competence of project managers by providing continual professional development, networking opportunities, information, advice, and professional insurance.

**About the Role**:
As the Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of AIPM’s events calendar. You will work with the interstate volunteers to organise and coordinate their range of in-person and virtual events. This involves collaborating and managing relationships with a range of key stakeholders, including presenters, members, suppliers, and sponsors, to deliver successful events.

You will have the opportunity to assist the Conference and Events Manager to organise the annual Awards program and national conference.

**About the Person**:
You will be a collaborative and a team player, that takes initiative and has a passion for event coordination. You will have previous experience coordinating and organising events.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- End-to-end coordination and execution of all in-person and online events
- Engage with state volunteers and key stakeholders in the planning of the event
- Liaise with third parties including suppliers, venues, presenters, vendors, and catering
- Conduct venue research, collect & review quotes
- Create a marketing plan and promote events on social media and EDM channels
- Support with general administrative tasks, monitor invoices, process payments, purchase orders, and budget management
- Attend the events you organise to offer logístical support (as required)

- Outstanding organisational and event coordination skills
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating or managing events
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A can-do attitude, high-level of initiative & team player
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels and externally
