**About The Role**:
Reporting to the Events and Sponsorship Manager, the **Events Coordinator **will assist in planning, delivery and reporting of events in-line with Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute's Marketing and Events Strategy.

This exciting role is based at our Essendon campus and assists in the delivery of a huge calendar of events ranging from educational expos, graduation ceremonies, award nights, industry networking and community activities, and so much more. Some of the events you will be supporting include:

- Ministerial and media events
- Major TAFE events including Graduation, Tomorrow Bound and Industry Excellence Awards
- Student award nominations and sponsor sourcing for over 100 student awards
- Open evenings and industry breakfasts
- Major industry and career exhibitions
- NAIDOC, Reconciliation, RU OK? Day
- Experience Days (School engagement and try-a-trade events)

The role will require attendance at events outside of regular working hours, including some weekends, and travel to regional and metro locations to deliver events and meet with stakeholders as required.

- Relevant degree or TAFE qualification in event planning and management OR experience in relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
- Someone that has great attention to detail, can multi-task and is exceptionally organised
- An enthusiastic and driven personality with an appetite for running excellent events
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management
