**Conference and Events Coordinator**

**THE ROLE**:

- Deliver top-tier service by following local and global standards, overseeing event execution, food safety, hygiene, and ensuring flawless setups.
- Serve as the main contact for event logistics, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all events run smoothly from planning to execution.
- Assist with strategic resource allocation, scheduling staff based on business needs, and managing contingency teams to optimise productivity and budget.
- Engage with clients, customise service packages, handle inquiries, promote offerings, and ensure seamless participant registration and coordination.
- Step up as Dining Manager when needed, manage procurement for dining, and support compliance with health and safety standards.

**THE PERSON**:

- Hospitality degree preferred, demonstrable experience in Catering, event execution in a food & beverage environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and drive to interact with clients and senior executives
- Proficiency in using, MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook 365
- Excellent communication skills; Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Demonstrates personal integrity, manages time well, and is highly visible in areas of responsibility
