**The role**

The Senior Events Adviser is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events, including procuring services to support the event, coordinating communications and promotional requirements of events, preparing event briefings, coordinating stakeholder management and supports staff and suppliers to ensure that events are delivered successfully and within budget.

It is a 3 months contract role.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide specialist advice to the senior management on successful, innovative communications strategies, particularly relating to major events
- Ensure the event or project is designed to deliver upon desired organisational goals
- Plan the sequence of projects or activities using project management framework and skills to enable effective implementation
- Use appropriate project management planning and monitoring tools to track project progress

**Required**
- Excellent event management skills to deliver large scale events and public relations activities The ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage conflicting priorities and deliver high quality advice within very tight timelines
- Prior Government sector experience - highly regarded
- Desirable: Relevant qualification in Event Management
