**The Position**

An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a reputable and large industry leader in Brisbane. This role allows you to lead and coach a high-performing team and work closely with the senior leaders of the transactional finance function.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a supervisor of the accounts payable division, you will be responsible for driving the daily accounts payable functions, leading the team to high-performance and ensuring goals are achieved.

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

- Lead and mentor an established accounts payable team ensuring ongoing growth and development;
- Management of timely and accurate accounts payable reporting;
- Foster positive and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships;
- Performing and coaching of the daily functions of accounts payable with a focus on reconciliations, reporting and process improvement.

**Skills and Experience**:
In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to:

- Ability to lead and influence a team of accounts payable officers;
- Strong sense of ownership;
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Effective and adaptive communication skills;
