**About the Role**

Located in our Brisbane Corporate office, This position reports directly to the Finance Business Partner and is responsible for managing and enhancing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team. The role is key in ensuring the timely payment of all suppliers to the Australian business, in strict accordance with company policy, and supports the achievement of the organisation's overall objectives.

**Your role will be rewarding and varied, where you will**:

- Lead and Support the Accounts Payable Team - Oversee AP staff, ensure timely reviews, and foster a collaborative, supportive work environment.
- Enhance Financial Processes - Contribute to cash flow analysis, support Treasury, and streamline payment processing to meet monthly and weekly deadlines.
- Ensure Supplier Relations and Accuracy - Resolve queries, maintain accurate supplier banking details, and verify all payment runs for smooth transactions.
- Generate and Manage Key Reports - Prepare and analyse essential reports like ORNI, Trade Creditors, and Aged Invoices monthly, coordinating with accountants and site teams.
- Maintain Compliance and Controls - Uphold internal policies, manage AP modules, and enforce documentation accuracy to align with audit standards.
- Commit to Continuous Improvement - Build positive relationships, pursue professional growth, and drive improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.

**Key to your success will be your**:

- Experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Supervisor experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and banking principles
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
