**The Opportunity**
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the full end to end accounts payable function across National Storage for both our Australia and New Zealand based businesses as well as all other managed centres, and joint ventures. The Accounts Payable Manager is an integral member of the Finance Team, working closely with senior members of the team to support the business in its growth phase.

**Day to Day You Will be Responsible for**:

- Taking ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process to meet key business performance metrics. These metrics include accurate invoice processing, compliance with the purchase order approval process, and ensuring timely payments are made to suppliers.
- Management of AP inbox to ensure timely processing of business-critical payments.
- Develop and manage KPI’s of 1 direct report.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between the accounts payable and purchase order system.
- Setting up/ overseeing the setup of weekly batch payment runs for review and ad hoc business payments, as directed, for approval by the finance team.
- Taking ownership of all other parts of the AP system including ensuring that systems data is accurate, new suppliers are correctly onboarded onto the process and supplier master data is appropriately safeguarded.
- Working alongside the finance team to further enhance purchase order systems, including system enhancements and other project improvements.

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience within an Accounts Payable function.
- A working knowledge of an accounts payable automation system (experience with Kofax will be highly regarded).
- Experience working in a purchase order based accounts payable approval system, ideally TechnologyOne supply chain management.
- Strong interpersonal skills matched with the ability to build meaningful relationships at all levels of the business.
- Time management comes naturally to you matched with the ability to coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong Excel skills.
