An exciting opportunity presents itself for a **Price File Administrator** to join this marketing leading company at their support office in Mount Waverley.
- Permanent Position

- $75k-$85k + Super

**About the role**

The Price File Administrator is accountable for the maintenance of the point of sale system product master file in line with supporting the objectives of the Merchandise Department and the initiatives that drive the business for all Merchandise strategies. Who will also assists with any day to day functions of the Merchandise Team as directed by the Product Managers and General Manager Merchandise and including general analytical reporting and insights.

**The role's responsibilities and duties will include**
- Carry out required point of sale system price file maintenance in order to provide all users with a seamless experience enabling them to carry out their job function in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Overview of general maintenance functions below:

- Implementing price changes initiated by external suppliers
- Creation of new part numbers
- Maintenance of existing part numbers
- Maintaining up to date barcode information
- Creation and logging of new Product Groups and Price Codes
- Carry out scheduled Supplier price checks
- Assist Logistics Team with price files and maintenance
- Support store network with price file queries
- Carry out and implement reviews of descriptions for relevance and consistency
- Maintain log of Price Matrix in Excel spreadsheet
- Review volume based price code product alignment
- Review BUYIN file for correct Product Group realignment of products
- Review and ensure accuracy of all aspects of Product Master file
- Assist Product Managers with all required maintenance and creation of products
- Communicate relevant Price file updates to store network
- Provide general analytical support across all aspects of business as requested including report generation, insights and recommendations
- Developing an in depth knowledge of operating system, prioritising and time management while adhering to timelines and processes while maintaining accuracy.

**Qualifications / experience**:

- Previous experience working within a Merchandise team preferred
- Solid knowledge of the industry.
