**About the role**:
This role is responsible for supporting strategy development, inorganic growth and implementation via reliable establishment and functional management of key projects across the organisation.
This role will lead a team accountable for ensuring key projects are continuously aligned to the required program outcomes and the organisation’s strategic objectives through setting up and implementing project tracking and reporting, financial monitoring and reporting, risk and issues registers and resource tracking.
In addition, this role will have the responsibility for organisational capacity and capability in strategic growth activities, merger and acquisitions, implementation plans, frameworks and governance with effective measurement and reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate growth, merger and acquisition strategy development through identification and development of business cases for Executive consumption
- Identify and manage strategic growth and organisational risks and ensure governance frameworks and reporting are in place to delivery on strategy
- Complete strategic market analysis and opportunity review for emerging initiatives that drive innovation and growth, as needed and directed.
- Develop and implement M&A integration framework, process, capability and capacity, articulating the market opportunities, competitive advantage, investment plans and long-term growth opportunities.
- Provide effective leadership and a clear sense of direction to the Data and Analytics team, demonstrating leadership competencies aligned to the leadership framework.
- Facilitate the strategic growth and planning across the organisation
- Create consistent project establishment framework (PMO), processes and templates including scoping and designing packets of work.
- Management of business budget and produce accurate monthly reporting on progress and status
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
- Qualifications and experience in Project Management methodologies.
- Previous experience as a Program Manager or equivalent role, leading enterprise-wide, strategic, high value projects.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in strategic growth, M&A or similar roles at complex for-profit or not-for profit organisation
- Significant experience in project / program governance and ownership, prioritisation processes, resource allocation, project management (multiple methodologies) and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, foster and maintain strategic working relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the organisation.
- Ability to drive enterprise project management capabilities with Executive Leaders, Senior Leaders and across a medium-to-large organisation.
- Data-driven leader with demonstrated success in developing and using financial analysis, data and metrics to drive business decisions and influence outcomes
