**About The Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Risk & Assurance to lead our organisation’s approach to enterprise risk, compliance, and assurance. This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Executive General Manager (EGM) of Legal & Governance. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance risk management practices and embed a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Risk Leadership**: Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk framework aligned with organisational goals.
- ** Compliance Management**: Oversee the compliance framework, ensuring adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements.
- ** Assurance Programs**: Lead first, second, and third-line assurance activities, including reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee.
- ** Business Continuity & Fraud Control**: Establish and manage business continuity programs and the fraud control plan.
- ** Strategic Reporting**: Deliver insightful reports to senior leadership and the board, supporting informed decision-making.
- ** Insurance Management**: Oversee the insurance program, ensuring adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and leading enterprise risk management, compliance, and assurance within complex organisations.
- Extensive experience in implementing frameworks, policies, and systems to mitigate risks and enhance business resilience.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivering value through strategic insights.
- Experience in leading privacy compliance, fraud investigations, and conflict-of-interest management.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Risk Management, or Law.

**Key Skills & Capabilities**
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to assess risks and implement effective controls.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at all organisational levels.
- Advanced knowledge of Australian standards relevant to risk and business continuity management.
- Practical understanding of Australian Privacy Principles and privacy legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver results within scope, budget, and timelines.
