Frequently Asked Questions About This Position
What will my working hours be?

General working hours are between 8.00am - 4.00pm however as you know the events industry is sporadic so you may encounter early starts and late nights as well

The role works on a rotating roster covering all days (Monday-Sunday) and provides multiple long weekends every quarter
Where will I be working?

Our warehouse is based in Geebung on Brisbane’s Northside but you’ll travel across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich and as far as Toowoomba to get our events ready
What type of work will I be doing?

You’ll be the lead hand at our variety of events, working with your own crew, training new staff and responsible for getting it done right the first time.

Your events experience and wealth of knowledge will have you also assisting our warehouse with inventory management, repairs, maintenance of equipment and various other warehouse duties
How much do I get paid?

We pay above award wages dependent on your experience, competencies and demonstrated ability to complete a task or job.

We pay particularly well for proven team leaders that can help our company to continue to grow.
Do I need a drivers license?

To be in the position of team leader, you’ll require an open manual license, HR truck license as well as your forklift ticket
Do I need to be physically fit?

This is a physical role, so yes. The type of equipment we handle and maintain also requires someone that is physically fit and can handle a fast paced work environment.

You don’t need to be Arnold Schwarzenneger but you do need to be able to move quickly, lift things frequently and be used to being on your feet
