Our highly reputable Civil Contractor has been awarded several infrastructure Projects based in SEQ Right now, we are looking for a CIVIL LEADING HAND to start as soon as possible in Mt Crosby (Pre-works stage - road upgrade) then continuing in The Gold Coast and Springwood.

The Job: This is a hands-on role where the successful applicant will be responsible for working at an operational level as well as leading a small team of workers, under the guidance of the Project Managers/ Engineers.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Certificate 3 in Civil Construction, Road Construction or Plant (preferred)
- Proven experience in the Road and Earthworks sector or worked on similar civil projects
- Implementing quality control techniques
- Planning and Allocating tasks and activities as required
- Planning complex construction sequencing
- Demonstrate excellent leadership directing and mentoring crew members to create an effective team and skilled workforce
- Roller Ticket or other plant tickets highly desirable
- Driver's Licence and reliable transport
