**Your New Company**
Atom Resources has partnered with a reputable Brisbane-based construction company that handles build, fitout, and refurbishment projects in the commercial and industrial sectors, with a focus on projects up to $10 million. We are seeking a Leading Hand to join their team. As Leading Hand, you will work alongside an experienced Site Manager to develop your skills and be given a clear plan of career advancement within the business.

**Your New Role**
In your new role you will:

- Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the successful execution of construction projects
- Provide hands-on leadership to on-site teams
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets and resources
- Implement and enforce safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet project targets and goals
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to keep all team members informed of progress
- Occasionally work on the tools depending on project demands and experience level

**What You Will Need to Succeed**
To succeed in your new role you will have:

- Trade background or relevant tertiary qualification, preferably carpentry background
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Previous experience in leadership or supervision roles will be highly regarded
- Ability to motivate and lead on-site teams effectively
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- A 'can do' attitude
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
- Experience in projects within live environments will be advantageous
