The Principal Project Officer, AO7 is a role in which you will:

- Develop manage and implement projects associated with innovative agreement making strategies that are led by First Nations perspectives and incorporate people, community, country and co-stewardship principles.
- Develop and maintain highly collaborative relationships with First Nations people, community, special interest groups, and other agencies to underpin the success of the project.
- Assist in the development and management of program activities including monitoring, evaluating and reporting on progress, business planning, budget monitoring, and compliance with legislated obligations and statutory requirements.
- Provide specialist advice to stakeholders both internal and external-to-Government with regard to agreement making including policy support and interpretation of relevant legislation and related departmental policies, practices and processes.
- Prepare and/or coordinate briefing notes, program plans, submissions, reports and correspondence associated with the program.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
