**Some of your responsibilities as Program Officer will include:

- Supporting the delivery of key projects and initiatives related to First Nations Strategy.
- Document management including preparing, and/or assisting in the preparation of, a suite of documents including reports, PowerPoint presentations, briefing notes, submissions and correspondence in accordance with departmental standards.
- Preparing, collating and disseminating consistently high-quality meeting and project papers to support the Director and Indigenous Strategy team.
- Finance activities including administering the Corporate Card for the Indigenous Strategy Team including the monitoring and reconciliation of Corporate Cards, payment of invoices, accounts receivable ensuring compliance with departmental financial standards and timeframes.
- Assist in the preparation of executive-level briefing notes, ministerials, reports, submissions, business cases and other correspondence in accordance with departmental standards.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- It is a genuine occupational requirement that this position be filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. One of the referees must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who can attest to the applicant's background, knowledge, skills and experience as they relate to the cultural capabilities.
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.

Desirable qualifications and conditions
- Queensland Drivers licence required for the role as intrastate travel will be required.
- Your current CV or resume, including the names and contact details of two referees. One of the referees must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who can attest to the applicant's background, knowledge, skills and experience as they relate to the cultural capabilities.
- A short response (maximum 2 pages) on how your experience, abilities, knowledge and personal qualities are relevant for the role.
