**A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE**
Sika Australia is currently seeking a driven individual to lead our production team within our Mortars manufacturing plant.
- This hands-on role will see you performing activities in the plant whilst providing direction and supervision to the work team.
- You will ensure products are manufactured in a safe and cost-efficient manner to the required standards of quality.
- Full Time Perm Role. Immediate Commencement. Wetherill Park Location. On-site Parking.

**MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL**
- Organise work teams, providing leadership and supervision.
- Allocate resources to ensure cost efficient production.
- Operate plant and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Provide daily feedback on manufacturing outcomes.
- Coordination of bulk raw materials & liaising with vendors.
- Transact work order documentation in a timely manner to reflect finished goods yield and raw material consumption.
- Train personnel as required.
- Report any major malfunction of plant and equipment to the Site Manager.
- Engage and organise contractors to carry out repairs and maintenance for specialist services for breakdown situations.
- Safely prepare plant in preparation for external maintenance, documenting work required and filing of work maintenance records.
- Always ensure housekeeping standards are met.
- Carry out duties as required by the Site Manager.

**A LITTLE ABOUT YOU**
To be successful within this role, you will:

- Have previous experience within leading/managing a production team or within a production environment.
- Be a hands-on manager with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Possess a strong Workplace Health & Safety focus and experience in ensuring members within the team you have managed are all complying with strict WHS rules and regulations.
- Have excellent time management, organisational and admin skills.
- Have the ability to work autonomously.
- Have excellent communication skills.
