Our opportunity

Mirvac currently has an opportunity for a Development Manager to be part of our team managing the development process for our new Switchyard development which is a ‘last mile’ industrial and logistics unit estate development in the inner west of Sydney. Our vision is to deliver high quality, premium grade industrial space leveraging the full strength of Mirvac’s asset creation capability following recent success of Mirvac’s other industrial projects including the Calibre estate. Occupier interest is very strong arising from this unique value proposition.

**Development duties include but are not limited to**:
Ability to balance and delegate objectives
Establish and manage feasibility, budgets and cash flows accurately
Ability to enter into and negotiate/finalise commercial negotiations.
Preparation of Agreement for Leases (AFL), including associated Leasing documents.
Review and manage development programme and brief
Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations
Expertise in legal, regulatory and other industry matters, with the ability to provide recommendations for actions internally within project feasibility
Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes, and know when to escalate to management
Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value
Ability to see and communicate ‘the bigger picture’, new business opportunities, and put together requirements
Value management of all aspects and stages of the project.
Management of customer AFL particulars and communicating these to the Customer including to the Superintendent, to ensure successful delivery of these requirements by the Head Contractor.
General Project Management responsibilities during the delivery phase of the development.

Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications, Solid Development industry knowledge and experience and Multiple project management expertise
Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity
Good Microsoft Suites and project management skills
Ability to guide team members on technical matters
Good decision-making, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills
